Prize Wheel Spinner

A prize wheel spinner creates one visible result from a list of rewards, bonus actions, classroom prompts, or party activities. The configured entries include classic prize-style labels, party challenges, and classroom rewards. Before spinning, the organizer can choose a preset group and edit the segments so every possible result fits the event.

The wheel of fortune works well for informal games and activity rounds because the possible results are displayed before the spin. A host can use it for a party, a classroom can use it for approved rewards or prompts, and a group can use it for a light bonus round. The wheel selects one active segment and opens a result box after it stops.

A prize wheel spinner is only as useful as its prepared list. Review the entries before the activity, remove anything that does not apply, and explain any result that needs a rule. The wheel does not manage eligibility, inventory, payments, or formal prize administration. It provides a random prompt for the activity you set up.

How to use Wheel of fortune

  1. Open Segments and review the prize or activity entries. Add a new result, edit a label, enable or disable an option, delete an unsuitable segment, change a color, or attach and remove an image when a visual reward icon helps participants understand the wheel.
  2. Open Settings and choose a Fortune mode. Select Any for the full configured entry pool, Classic for prize-style results, Party for social activities and challenges, or Classroom for approved learning rewards and prompts. Turn on No repeat prize when a selected entry should leave the active wheel after the result closes.
  3. Press the center SPIN control or select the wheel area after the active entries match the event. The wheel of fortune rotates and stops on one result.
  4. Review the selected entry in the result box. The box can show the result with its Prize Type and Use value. Select Remove to take that entry out immediately, or select Done to close the box. With No repeat prize enabled, Done also removes the selected prize before the next round.

Use Wheel of fortune for party and classroom rounds

The wheel of fortune is useful when the result should feel visible and event-focused. For a party, the configured Party mode includes entries such as Dance Challenge, Trivia Bonus, Snack Prize, Karaoke Pick, Photo Challenge, Lucky Draw, and Surprise Gift. For a classroom, the configured Classroom mode includes entries such as Bonus Point, Choose a Topic, Extra Reading Time, Team Reward, Quiz Hint, Pick the Next Game, Sticker Prize, and Mystery Challenge.

A prize wheel spinner can also support a classic bonus round. Classic mode includes entries such as Jackpot, Big Prize, Bonus, Free Spin, Mystery Box, Double Points, Golden Ticket, Small Prize, Extra Turn, and Mega Bonus. These labels are starting points. The organizer should adapt them to the real activity so the result has a clear meaning and can be delivered immediately.

For classroom use, every result should be age-appropriate, achievable, and approved before the wheel is shown. For party use, explain the activity rules and keep the tone suitable for the group. The wheel adds suspense, but the host remains responsible for the list and for carrying out the selected result.

Compare the fortune modes before the event

Fortune mode determines which configured preset group becomes active. Any combines the full set, while the focused modes create a more consistent activity. Use a focused mode when the event has a clear purpose. Use Any only when prize labels, party actions, and classroom-style entries genuinely belong in the same round.

PartySocial challenges, picks, and small rewardsKeep the activities suitable for the group and the event setting.
ClassroomLearning prompts, rewards, and class activitiesUse only options that fit the teacher's rules and can be delivered fairly.

The event wheel is easier to run when labels are short and concrete. If an entry needs conditions, explain them before the round or edit the label into a clearer result. A vague prize can slow down the activity after the spin, while a prepared list keeps the event moving.

Manage prizes and repeats clearly

No repeat prize is useful when an entry should be available only once. For example, a specific reward may leave the wheel after it is selected, or a completed party challenge may not need to return. When repeats are acceptable, leave the setting off. When a prize is limited or a classroom prompt should be used once, enable the setting or select Remove in the result box.

  • Use the wheel of fortune only after confirming that every active entry can be honored in the current event.
  • Replace placeholder-style labels with specific rewards, activities, or prompts that participants understand.
  • Use No repeat prize for limited rewards or one-time challenges, and explain the rule before the first spin.
  • Disable an entry temporarily when it may return in a later session, and delete it when it no longer belongs in the list.

A prize wheel spinner should not promise more than the organizer can provide. It does not verify stock, value, eligibility, or official contest compliance. For a casual activity, the host can keep the setup simple by using small, clearly defined results and removing each completed entry when appropriate.

Avoid confusing or mismatched results

The broad Any mode can be fun, but it may combine results that need different rules. A classroom reward, a party challenge, and a classic bonus are not always interchangeable. Review the segments after selecting a mode and edit the list into one coherent round. A focused wheel is easier for participants to understand.

The wheel of fortune also works better when the host checks the list after custom edits. A newly added image, a renamed segment, or a disabled result changes the visible pool. Read the active entries before the event begins and confirm that the result box will make sense for every remaining option.

Match the reward list to the event

The wheel of fortune should reflect the scale and rules of the activity. For a classroom round, small privileges, bonus prompts, and approved rewards are easier to deliver than vague prize promises. For a party, the list can focus on light challenges and social activities. For a classic bonus round, use prize-style labels only after deciding what each label represents.

A prepared wheel of fortune also needs a clear inventory rule. When one reward is available only once, enable the no-repeat option or remove the entry as soon as it appears. When a reusable activity can return later, leave it active. This distinction matters because the visible list may contain both repeatable prompts and limited rewards unless the organizer edits it into a consistent set.

Before participants gather, run through the remaining entries and confirm that every possible result is understandable, realistic, and suitable for the audience. That small check protects the pace of the event and prevents a result from requiring an improvised explanation after the spin.

Use another wheel for a different activity

Use Spin the Wheel when you need a completely custom list that is not centered on prizes or fortune-style activities. Use Win or Lose Wheel when the round needs outcome labels such as wins, losses, and retry-style results. Choosing the narrower tool keeps the list easier to prepare and the result easier to explain.

The wheel of fortune is strongest as a prepared event tool. Choose the right mode, edit the segments, decide whether prizes may repeat, and keep every result realistic. Used that way, the prize wheel spinner creates a clear moment of suspense without adding unnecessary confusion to the activity.
